Hello! Welcome to another Lightning update! Last time… well – I’m not sure what happened last time. Let’s just see what happens this time, shall we?

That makes sense… I have to dismiss her… bummer.
And our heir, Henrietta, looking very bored indeed.
She’s on her way out to get the customary part-time job.
Here we have the other two important family members… Lightning the Lizard,
And Bolt the Snake!
Aw, he’s sleeping.
Apparently we’re still mourning the loss of Beverly.
Sad. Flirting makes crying better, it would seem.
Henrietta broke the stereo when she returned.
Since the Lightnings have a “you broke it, you fix it” rule I have her get started.
Hmm, going well it seems.
She’s the heir, but I decide to press my luck.
I’m sure she’ll be fine.

Is she…dead? Did my heir just die?
Does that mean I lose? Holy crap.
My heir just died of electrocution. The second Lightning to perish by electricity. Great. So… do I just use Ginger? Do I need to have another “H” baby? Or did I just officially lose my own challenge?!?

Daniel: Stereo is broken…
Yeah… thanks. THE HEIR IS DEAD… The stereo being broken is UNIMPORTANT.

There wasn’t enough room in front of the stereo for a proper reaping… it would seem.

I cannot believe how fortunate I am. And that I had the foresight to move the Death Flower into Henrietta’s inventory! Way to look out for Future Heather, Past Heather! I didn’t even recall this family HAVING a flower! I’m so pleased with myself!

Well – these two have developed a weird relationship.

With short lifespans, we’re spouse hunting already!
Besides, Henri will still be a teen when prom rolls around, we want a date.
They look thrilled already, but I don’t care, I like them as a couple.
Henrietta has a face that manages to make her look bored all the time.
But I already adore this couple.

It helps that Jimmy is flirty! Their relationship is actually pretty low, but he finds her captivating.

We had like, four hours left of mourning Charlie and Felisha goes and pops her clogs while watching TV. At least she went doing what she loved.

Henrietta hasn’t noticed and is enjoying a salad.

Felisha: Whelp, I’m tired of watching TV anyway… Same old show all the time! On to the next channel! *Shakes hands*

If Daniel dies in the next 24 hours, there’s only teens in the house.
I’m concerned about what that might mean… Ginger will age up the next day, I hope Daniel sticks around! Henri manages to look bored in the background. At least she’s not crying – right this second.
Around this moment, Henrietta rolls Golden Tongue Golden Fingers, and I lock it in. Seeing as it’s not a career related LTW, there’s a possibility she can complete it. After locking it, I send her off to the graveyard to lay Felisha to rest.
She’s a little off center to save room for Daniel when he goes. No hurry though.

…I don’t know what would happen if there were only teens in the house. And look! A glitched baby bottle!
The Lightnings have been in mourning since I opened their save file.

Daniel to Ginger: I know things have been terribly sad lately, but chin up, buttercup!
Ginger didn’t get all bent out of shape like they often do… it was sweet.
Then Daniel stood in his daughters’ bedroom and cried for five hours.

Daniel managed to stay alive long enough for Ginger to have her full moon adult birthday!
She’ll have to stick around until Henrietta ages up – to take care of her and all. Since everyone else KEEPS DYING.
She had flirty locked in.
I had to give her a tiny makeover, since she looks just like her mother, especially in the same hair!

And although she’s most likely a Felisha clone, I’m quite fond of her.

Although it wasn’t neglect that cost Lightning his life, his bowl was always full, and his tank always clean.

But, life must go on… and I buy a tablet for Henrietta. She has charisma blasting directly into her brain while she plays her new guitar.
We might actually make an LTW this generation.
And then it’s PROM! The doorbell rang and Jimmy actually came to pick her up in the limo!
Daniel might be being a little overprotective, but it’s still cute.
Hey, for a townie created outfit, Jimmy’s formal wear isn’t that bad!

I’m really glad she’s the heir, and that she didn’t permanently die when repairing the stereo.

Ginger is off at her part-time job, and Daniel is home alone, working out until his youngest daughter returns home.
He’s so very old, I think only his regular exercise regimen has kept him around. I really can’t take another death right now, so hang in there, please?
Henri arrives home, prom queen – of course, but has this lovely picture.

And then my game crashed, and I lost over an hour of play. Grr. I loaded the game back up and pretty much left it on ultra speed until I caught up to where I’d left off. On the plus side – the LIZARD IS STILL ALIVE. I wanted to play just a tiny bit longer before the crash, because Henrietta’s birthday is the very next day! But the crash made me end the post here. Come back next time and enjoy the likely beginning of our 3rd generation and bring on the next set of babies! More birthdays and happy times, and far less crying!
